There are so many resorts to choose from in Dead Sea-Jordan but Movenpick resort is quite the oldest in the area that was opened in 1999, therefore; I decided to stay there (as a matter of facts, I stayed three times and each time I had a problem with my stay and they used to refund me in the following visit).
The property is a 5-star Resort and Spa with panoramic views of the Dead Sea. It is large with a beautiful landscape, I had already seen the photos on its website before booking and this was honestly what encouraged me and made me excited for the journey. However, both check in and check out processes were miserable and annoying. The staff were slow and made me wait in queue for so long and they were not organized at all. In general, the front desk service was terrible, and the staff were arrogant, unprofessional and unhelpful.
The resort has 346 rooms with different view settings such as sea, pool, or garden view. It has a fitness center, a children’s club and a spa. There are many swimming pools distributed all over the property and all of them are nice. One of the pools simulates a beach with sands at one side of the pool which is a nice idea.
